About Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE)

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering has been known for its Engineering excellence since its incubation in 1979. DSCE has 04 decades of proven track records. It is one of the few technical colleges which offers the widest choice of Engineering courses with a strong emphasis on Research & Development programs. It offers 18 UG, 13 PG, Basic Science & Humanitarian Courses. DSCE has 20 research centers which are all approved by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) for scholars in various streams of Engineering. 

Education @ DSCE

DSCE has passionate and professional faculty in all streams who go over and beyond teaching by providing 1:1 mentoring to a fixed number of students, this approach helps students to choose the right profession/stream in Engineering as a career. 116 of the high-tech-savvy faculty in DSCE  have registered for the Ph.D. program. The institute puts together the widest choice of academic curriculum & research & development programs to suit the changing needs of industries.

DSCE Advantage:

• Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Center ( IEDC)  – DSCE has invested in a dedicated Cell called IEDC to nurture innovative ideas from budding Engineers who want to become Entrepreneurs. This team plans & conducts activities like Ideathons, workshops, BI Proposals, E-Cell activities, and e-summits to empower young talent to fulfill their dreams. 
• Budding Entrepreneurs – DSCE has taken the initiative to produce “job seekers” and “Job- Producers” who contribute directly to economic development. DSCE has a track record where few budding entrepreneurs from the college have received funding from MSME for their ideas from a technical summit. 
• Internship Policy – DSCE has an impactful internship policy to create the future technical talent pool. They have 03 mandatory internships at three stages during Engineering, and they have a mix of intra and inter-institutional internships. The Postgraduate & Ph. D students have research internships and industrial internships which is a pathway to Industry exposure & placement.  
• Centre for Innovation & Leadership (CIL) – CIL is a dedicated Cell mentoring and coaching students on Soft skills, and provides placement training, self-presentation, and Time management to become industry-ready. This is a step taken by DSCE to produce “Job Providers” in addition to “Job Seekers” to contribute to the growing Economy
